As a compassionate product/UX designer, my goal is to craft inclusive and user-friendly experiences that cater to individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring seamless accessibility, unparalleled convenience, and empowering every user to embrace a profound sense of belonging within the digital realm.

With a background in architecture, I have developed a heightened sensitivity to design, both in its overarching concept and in its intricate details. I transitioned from architecture to product design to have a direct and impactful influence on people's behavior, prioritizing their needs and creating inclusive experiences. While architecture offered me unique perspectives in hybrid-spatial design, product design allows me to make a more efficient and tangible difference in people's lives, leveraging the convergence of the digital and physical realms to shape and influence users.

 

Besides, my experience as s a gender minority from Asia myself has enabled me to be more sensitive and empathetic in my design. I understand the value of self-independence and strive to create better living environments for marginalized individuals through my designs. I care deeply not only for my community but also each and every individual, and user.

That is the reason why my designs prioritize strong human-centered ideas and empathy to create user experiences that truly resonate with people.

Leadership has been an integral part of my life, with experiences ranging from serving as a class monitor at a young age to being the president of the student union in college. My diverse background, growing up in different cities, has made me adaptable to new environments. I value teamwork and encourage everyone to contribute their best ideas, while also being comfortable making decisions when necessary. Also, my interest in business and finance stems from my family background, providing me with a distinctive viewpoint that sets me apart from other designers when evaluating designs.

I am passionate about sports, music, traditional Chinese opera, and model cars!

As a semi-pro table tennis🏓 player and avid tennis🎾 enthusiast, I love the thrill of competition and pushing my limits. Recently, I discovered a new passion for flying 🚁 and had an unforgettable experience as a helicopter pilot. The rush of adrenaline from being up in the air is something I can't get enough of.

In my free time, I enjoy practicing western drums🥁 and traditional Chinese instruments, as well as specializing in Face-changing performances in Sichuan Opera🎭. Also, I have my own LEGO  model car🏎️  collection.
